Nogal wat sides en blogs publiceerden de lijst de afgelopen tijd. Een van de leukste varianten is die van ene Judd, op zijn blog The 6149. Judd markeerde de platen die hij zelf heeft in vet. Dat heb ik dus ook gedaan. Ik tel er 17. Weinig? Zelfverklaarde Keef- en Stonesfanaat Judd (oké, zijn muziekverzameling telt 10 Keef-titels, maar waar is Let It Bleed ?) heeft er maar 11. En wat moet Keith ook met al die verzamellp´s? Zeker weinig geld op het moment van aanschaf.
Genoeg gezeur. Want het leuke van dit soort lijstjes zijn natuurlijk juist de platen die je niet hebt en vooral de mystery names. Snel op zoek dus naar de Golden Hits van Tilbouke Reid.
PS. Nummer 43 Albert Johnson - The King of The Delta Blues Singers heb ik niet, maar ik neem aan dat hier dat het hier om good old Robert gaat. En die hebben we natuurlijk wel.
PSS. Chicago Blues Today 1 t/ 3 zijn geen verzamelaars, maar platen waarvoor de bluestop in Chicago de studio inging, halverwege de jaren 60 van de vorige eeuw. Met drie klassieke platen als gevolg (zie ook mijn onbewoond eiland top 10)
PSS. Tilbouke Reid is echt een mysterie. Niets te vinden via Google, niets op You Tube. Wie helpt?
